wiper control mod.
i can not locate it, alldata states that it is behind the RH side of the instrament panel near the upper cowl. but no luck, do any of you know the location? this is on a 1993 f150 flareside 4x4 MT 302ci, thanks

Is wiper control mod. the same as the Interval Governor that controls the intermitten speed of the wipers?? The Chilton manual that I have says " Reach up under the instrument panel, behind the wiper switch, and locate the governor. Unplug the wiring connector and remove the wiring clip from the panel reinforcement. Remove the governor attaching screw and remove the governor. Installation is the reverse of removal. Its on page 6-38 in chassis electrical for the instructions and page 6-40, FIG. 72, for the diagram. Don't know if we are talking about the same thing??

The Chilton is out of date for a '93. That refers to the location for the module when the switch was on the dash. The module was moved when they went to the multifunction switch on the column. The Ford manual for '93 says it is on the firewall behind the glove box. I have not gone looking for mine yet, just read about it, so I can't provide practical input. (My wipers won't stop by themselves so the park switch is the most likely culprit. Hopefully I'll be able to get to it this weekend.)
