1992 Ford Ranger Stereo Question
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 21-Dec-01 AT 10:14 AM (EST)]Hey, I just got a 2 Ranger XLT custom short bed about 4 months ago. When I bought it the tape deck in it wasn't working. It turned on, but it just didn't work. I just had a Panasonic cd player installed in the truck today. It's actually at the shop right now. It's a 4x50w cd player. My question is this...I see 4 speakers in my truck, 2 up front under the window and 2 in the back behind the seats...what size are they? And also, is this cd player going to sound bad on the stock speakers? I may just replace them, so I need to know the size of them. I'm not creating a bass-thumping discoball here, but I would like the system to sound as clear as possible. Thanks a lot.

THE SPEAKERS IN THE FRONT ARE 5.25" AND THE SPEAKERS IN THE BACK ARE ACTUALLY 5x8" NOT, I REPEAT NOT 6x9!!!!!!!
I INSTALLED A PIONEER CD DECK AND PIONEER SPEAKERS ALL AROUND, SOUNDS GOOD. CHECK OUT SOME PIONEER AT YOUR LOCAL WALMART THEY WILL SAY THAT THEY FIT FORD MAZDA ETC.
