05' truck 04' engine?

From my latest research, 05 trucks all have 05 engines. Look on the passenger side valve cover and see if there is a red sticker stating engine year, hp, torque, etc. I am still trying to find if the build date is on the FICM like on 03s and 04s.
I guess I will have to take a trip up to the dealers and pop the hood on some 05's. Maybe I will drive one to see if it is better than my 03.

Have the 05 in a F-550 4x4 and seems the motor runs like my 04 before they did the reflash, but cant complain other than a belt squeal when new, dealer fixed that and now over 18000 miles and still runnin great.
