Question carb & intake

I have a '54 F800 with a lincoln 317 ci. I found EAD on the block so I'm assuming it's a 317. I am looking for a 4bbl and intake for the truck. It's a good running truck but I need more power and need to get away from the governed carb.
Any ideas out there. I tow a load close to 20,000 lbs.

Thanks
David

One choice would be to get an intake off a later F700-800 332 as they use the modern 4bbl bolt pattern.
Another option would be a 55-6 Lincoln 341 or 368 intake and then use an adapter for the later style carb. And if youre real lucky a 57 Lincoln or Merc 368 has the correct intake.

Some of that stuff shows on Ebay, Ive even seen dual quad setups.

Of course you could always just drop in a complete 368!
