Rebate?
I've been reading the posts re rebates and I am not clear what is being offered now on new F-250's. One post states a recent $500 rebate was just announced within the last week and another post states there is currently a $1,500 nationwide rebate. Just last week my dealer told me there were no rebates currently being offered. I can understand he would not have been aware of the $500 one but not the $1,500 one. Does anyone know what the current rebate is on this vehicle?? Thanks.

I don't believe there are any national or FMCC rebates currently on 05 SD trucks. The $500 rebate announced recently applies only to A/D/X/Z plan purchases for any 04/05 F-Series. And the $1500 national rebate is for 05 F150 Scab and Screw. The rebate is $2000 on F150 Rcab.
But if you're not using A/D/X/Z plan, you can get a private offer rebate such as $500 AQHA or one of these "hidden" web coupons that folks have been talking about.
