International GPR

Does any one know if the International Glow plug relay is the same as Fords?

Working on a 97 F250 7.3

I don't know for certain, but I'd bet that it is. Another option is one of these, once they get them back in stock. That's the unit I bought, and it works great. It's designed for continuous use, rather than some that are designed for occasional use only. Should last a long time.

Yes it is - if you pull your old one out you'll even see an "International-style" part number on it (I think it was stamped into the metal mounting plate.)

Last GPR I got for my '97 came from the International dealer - they're way cheaper!

Thanks for the responses. Ford is crazy about the price of the replacement parts for these trucks.

Parts # and prices are below

International prices

GPR 1826634C94 48.66
Glow plugs 1820697C2 106.08 for the set
Camp sensor 1825899C93 89.10

Ford Prices

GPR 90.00+
Glow plugs 220.00
Cam Sensor 190.00

Seems like deal to me.

They wanted 50.00 in labor to replace the Fuel Filter and 45.00 for the Air filter at the dealer.

I am in the wrong business. Currently I do Computer networking.

a better deal on motorcraft glow plugs is O'Reilly's....they run about 8.50$ a piece for the Motorcraft/Beru. that coems to what, under 80? whats the camp sensor? been seeing it but no explenation...
