97 1 ton PSD Auto. 244,000 mi stock except for BB in FPR
Truck runs great except at idle I feel a mis. It's almost like a distant thump. Is this the famed #8 problems? What is the deal with #8? When looking at my engine which is #8? Can I replace 1 injector? Thanks

 

Correction; Mis is through entire RPM range. But, comes and goes....

 

My 99' psd does something simular. Give her a lot of throttle (in gear) then put in the clutch and it will idle on what seems to be 7 cylinders. Blip the thottle a couple times then it goes away. I'm sure it's a fuel thing since it comes an goes.
Any ideas??

 

Thats the one. Same thing here. It has to be heat related because it doesn't mis during first start up of the day.
