bump stops
I have just purchased a 2004 350 power stroke with off road suspension package. I am hearing a bumping noise when I make a sharp turn, lock to lock. The dealer says this is normal and I am just hitting up against the bump stops.
Is this normal? Can it be eliminated?

Uhh unless you drive like Junior in the city you're not hitting the bump stops. You might be hitting the steering stops but that's doubtful. Usually you only hit them when you make a u turn and then they don't really go "bump" Maybe you have tires rubbing on the springs?
