I have a 2000 f-250 7.3 psd and the button for the overdrive doesnt always want to work right sometimes it will turn on/off and sometimes it wont.
Is this switch hard to replace and can I just get the switch so I can replace it?
Also it seems that the overdrive is backwards from all the other vehicles I have had the overdrive is normally off and if you want it on you have to hit the switch. On my Durango it is just the opisite
This happened on mine and it was the wiring harness inside the steering column. Apparently it gets bare wires from using the tilt steering a lot. The dealer replaced it under warranty.
had the same problem last week i just bought a new shifter lever and the ring that goes around the button. fixed it in 15 mins and was out the door for 55 bucks.

This would be an awesome mod for me, anyone know if it's even possible to make it work opposite? I'm not good with elecs though, but can do with instructions.
