P.S. Please post your current finds and will tell you if I can improve on it. Specify product, quantity, price (including shipping). Being in oil country (deep south Louisiana), I may have a few connections that can help... Maybe, maybe not....

Medication? A lot clearer now, must remember to take MEDS daily. Hope this doesn't get arround, it might reflect poorly on us SD enthusiasts, not to mention the DMV. Now where are my keys?
Well...in regards to Mobil Truck & SUV it seems that Walmart is still the best place to buy @ 3.77 / quart the last time I bought it. I think it was on sale though. Apparently, however, not all stores carry it and I have yet to find it in gal. jugs.
In fact, Walmart is the only place I have seen it but then again I don't make it my mission in life to seek it out everywhere I go.
With a 13 year old's activities, 2 grand kids in the hanger, bidness travel schedule, Tuesday night designated professional beer drinking / gambling night (but don't tell anybody), and very significant other's scheduled honey do's, and...the list goes on and on...not much time to scope out oil prices. If you know what I mean.
Thank goodness for FTE and our very good ol' boy / girl network.
Alright friend, finally done with the medication .......so I should be back to normal...what ever that is ?!?!?!.
I have a few emails out to some friends of mine and should hear back from them soon on the Mobil Truck and SUV, Delvac and Delo products. Most of them wholesale to truck fleets etc... If I can pass along the connection I will.
In the meanwhile, I was surfing the net to see what kind of costs are out there and came across this
So it seems that if you can buy the Delo 400 by the Gallon for $9.99 a piece and the quart for $2.39 and if you buy $100 you qualify for free shipping. I really don't know if it is a good price since I have never bought or priced the Chevron Product. This site also sell Mobil product but I did not see the Mobil 1 or the Mobil Truck and SUV.
I was told by 2 dealers never to use delo in my 6.0 or 7.3 motor due to foaming, any truth to this? It sounded a little off since I used either delo or rotella depending on which was on sale at the truck stop in my Cat and Cummins motors without any issues.
P.S. Dr Pain, wanna trade meds for a day? Mine make you forget things and allow you to slam your hand in the hood without feeling it much. Perfect for those oil change knuckle busters
I am not sure if Delo will foam, however ANY oil that could or would foam is not good for the 6.0 especially... any with c-94's, after understanding more on the operating PSI of the 6.0, even with c-95’s foaming is just a bad thing…
SBV: You are correct, $ 4.77 is normal price of Mobil 1 Truck / SUV. However, the 14 qrts I bought right after my oil change @ 10,000 miles was $ 3.77 / qrt. At first I thought it was on sale but now I think it was mis-marked 'cause I was at the same Wally World last night and it was $ 4.77 again. Nice to get one over on Walmart for a change.
Man, we sure wipe out the shelve stock when we load up don't we?
I believe Delo is just fine. I think the rumor about certain oils not having anti-foaming additives came from overfilling and the crank turns it into a CI-4 smoothie.
I've used Rotella-T dino oil in the past and my first oil analysis looked fine. I bought a case of Delo at Costco and will be changing the oil this weekend.
We'll see if any difference is noted. I'll also do an oil analysis at the next oil change too and see how the Delo held up.
