My wife really likes the leather in the King Ranch F 250 CC but I want the SC
model. Does anyone know if Ford is going to offer the KR in the SC? Thanks.
I doubt you'll see it- there was a Harley SuperCab in 2004, but Ford dropped it due to lack of sales. The special SuperCab seats with the built-in seat belts, plus a special King Ranch back seat for the SuperCab make it hard to justify vs. the few they'd be able to sell.
Here's a similar question. My wife and I both like the leather used in the King Ranch, and I'm quite fond of the copper color. However, we'd much prefer the 40/20/40 seating in front instead of captain's chairs. Is that something that could ever be worked out? If the Lariat came in that copper color, I'd not worry too much, but I just LOVE that color and it's only available in KR.

Simple enough: buy the KR, then order the "20" part of the 40/20/40 seat from the Ford parts department. Have it recovered in the KR leather, and then swap it out with the console that came with the truck. You'll also have to remove the inboard armrests from the captain's chairs, which will leave some holes, but I'm sure they can be covered up to look decent.
Jeff, have you ever seen a conversion done? Is it something done at a ford house or done by an aftermarket shop? Any ideas on costs? I too would like the added capacity of the front bench seat but love the castano leather.
I'm just the opposite.. I thought I wanted the Castano leather seats, until I sat in one for 15minutes... Ive always hated 2 tone painted trucks.. but the seats just didn't fit me right.. I love my Lariat Seats. thought I'd miss the 40/20/40 too, but I'm diggin the capt. chairs. even the girly friend doesn't mind not being able to lay across the front. Thats what tips the world to one side, then evens back out.. CHoices... I'm exstatic with mine. You should be with yours as well. I also hated the look of the floor console which appeared cheap to me. the stitching looked good, but the way it sat on the console wasn't "it".
