I liked the power of the Airaid but could not stand the noise when pulling a trailer. I think I am going to try the Airaid JR.

Took me about 30 minutes without any instructions. It's pretty self explanatory when you see the parts that need to go in. Take the old stuff out then put the new stuff in.

The Volant looks intersting, do they give you any more power & does it help the gas milage, do you need an exhaust to get full benefits, what about other brands.

yes more power uphigh on the power band they claim 18 HP and 40 TQ
and i already had flowmaster and diablo predator dumped the flowmaster and got a AerioTurbine and wow LOVE it! much nicer then the flowmaster

Installation manual???? I bought the kit and the ram air unit. Waited 4 weeks for the dealer to NOT call me back everytime I called him. Turns out the ram air kit was discontinued and no one told him! Anyway, the "installation manual" is one page of a poor diagram with no written instructions. They let you figure it out. REALLY POOR JOB! But I love the performance and the sound. It's noisy under hard acceleration but unnoticed under "normal" driving, whatever that is!

I have the airaid with magnaflow dual cat back and it is awesome. The sound is great and the power gains are nice as well. Next up Superchips supertuner.

It's a great system. I had installed one on my 2001 and now my 2004. It takes about 1.5 hours to install. Very simple. Cleans up the engine compartment very well. Make sure you disconnect the battery while you install it. After your done, you'll find that it is a little loud but once the computer learns your driving habits, it will quite down.
