Exclamation got a Question!

Does any one happen to know which wire on the coil connector would happen to get the ground? I was thinkin that i could connect a test light and crank the engine over and the ground should actually flash. The hot wire should stay on when the light is attached to it!! True or False? Thanks for any help!!

Won't work for trouble shooting that way. The COP unit(s) are tested by the PCU at startup, and while running. Think it is a resistance test and if too low(shorted) or too high(open circuit) will/should throw a code. Adding your test light in series will change the series resistance.

If you have an ohm meter, check continuity (resistance) between each wire and the engine block (ground). The wire with close to 0 ohms will be the ground.
