Ha, thats sick! Whats the fender clearance like, I couldn't tell for sure in the pics. I believe that you now officially have the biggest Ford on FTE. Now go run over some civics
Crrrraaaaazy Cody! That looks killer. I wish I could get away with something like that here. Out of curiousity what do those Hawgs actually measure? From the picture they don't look that much under 44 but it's kind of hard to tell.
that is awesome. you woulda gotten along good with my buddy mike. he had a 00' f250 with 36" of lift and 44's. all the crazy stuff. you still plannin on puttin in the 2.5 ton axles?
Fender and tire clearance are good. I didn't even have to trim the typical area of the front bumper to turn them. They do hit the leaf springs a little sooner than the 44s did, but I can still drive it around town no sweat. The Hawgs measured 41 inches tall and the Iroks in the picture (at <5 PSI) measured 46 inches......but air them up to 20 psi (which takes 6 MINUTESEACH) and they actually measure about 49.5 inches tall. Never seen a tire expand like that just due to air pressure, but it's kinda neat. I had 3 of them loaded up in the back of the pickup side by side standing up and after I aired them up, I couldn't get them out!!!
Yeah, I want Rockwells like nobody's business, but until I find a set locally that the owner isn't trying to sell for a million dollars I'll just live with these axles...w/4.10 gears. The powerstroke isn't so powerless with new injector o-rings, so I'm not so disappointed with the performance anymore.
Thanks for the kind words...all I get around here are the big thumbs-down. All these darn kids and the ricers their parents buy for 'em. The younger (read pre-adolescent) kids love it though....I get lots of from them.
In all honesty, besides the fact that the previous owner put that sand weight stuff in each tire (2 bags EACH that are getting vacuumed out in short order), it drives remarkably well. I drove it 70 MPH home (16 miles) last night and except for a tire balance issue with one tire, the drive was pleasant. Like I said, they're QUIET!!! They are nice and plush riding, too!! I don't think I've mentioned it before, but the weight rating on the 49s is extraordinary!! I was looking at some 235/75-16 Cooper Discoverers (load range E style) and they were rated for 2875 lbs@ 75psi. My 49s are rated for 3650 lbs @25 psi.......HA HA.

Cody, there seems to be a solution to this. It's got something to do with your steering wheel and a lot of throttle but I don't remember all the details now. I'll see if I can find the thread for you.
