did you try the coil pickup in the dizzy. is the rotor turning when you crank the motor?
is the control mod getting power.
FYI you can gain a good bit of power by recurving the stock dizzy.
if you have a module you have a magnetic pickup. points does the job of both.
go ahead and replace it.
did it stop making spark at the same time it went boom.
if you took the EGR off unhook the vac advance too and reset timing to 12˚. they work together, some times you can get it to run good with and some times you can't. i'll tell you how to recurve it later.
