Help, I have no spark

Hello, mt ford F-150 lariat 2 wheel drive is 1990. The truck will not turn over and I think my electrical is shot. I know my problem is that I have no spark. I just put in brank new engintion wires and a distrbuter head. I am now out of ideas. If anyone could give me some pointers it would be greatly appreciated.

you could narrow it down a bit. was it running? what size engine? what have you tried? could it have jumped time? there are so many things that could be wrong you have to narrow the field a bit please.

the truck hasn't run and my engine size is a 5.8 L. The truck coulnd't have jump time and i have tried changing my spark plug and my egnition cables. thanks

my next look would be at the coil if it turns over. you said it won't turn over? you mean crank will it crank?

If it cranks, but won't start, I would change the distributor ignition module as a shot in the dark.

If it won't even turn over, I would suspect you may have the classic steering column linkage problem.
