I have a 1993 Ford Ranger and it stopped running while
I was driving down the road. It just stopped cold.
The alternator is okay, its getting fuel, it tries to start
when I turn the key but won't start. Does anyone know
what the problem can be? I'm a woman and don't know
anything about engines. Its got about 130,000 miles
on it. I can't afford a mechanic so I'd appreciate any
help.
How do you know it's getting gas? Do you know if it's getting a spark? Do you think you can do some minor work or have a friend that can. The best place to start is pulling the codes from the computer with is not hard, let me know if you want to try. Feel free to email me.
