Welcome rellik74. I'm new here too. I also have a 4 X 4 extended cab 4 liter 5 Spd. Mine's a 2000 model with a flare side bed. I'm in love with it so far. After adding Pro-Long to the engine oil and transmission, putting on a bed cover, filling the tires near max, and adding a K & N air filter, I managed to get 21mpg at 70mph. (not with the air conditioning on)
I'm looking to add a few more horsepower and increase the engine performance with a low restriction exhaust system. I checked into changing the computer chip but all the one's I have seen make you use premium gas and I'm too stingy. Have you heard any good things about performance exhaust systems? I don't want it to sound too loud.
