Would like to ask you for a prayer or 2,3,4,5 and keep them going; for my little buddy (One Hell of a good Guy) Manny.
He is with the 82 Air born and has been called back for a second term.
He will be away from us for 18 months and will have very little contact with me. He called me last night and told me the news and after wishing hime a happy Vets day on Thur. MAN IT brought a tear to my eye - OK I broke down!!
Some thing in our conversation just didnt feel right.
God and us the USA be with all our Armed forces and civilans that are trying to help those in need of what we treat for granted FREEDOM!!!!
Thank You and Please say a Prayer tonight Please!!!
Please!!!!
PS we need an American Flag Smilie Face!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey Fix, my heart goes out to you. I'm kind of like F250 I prey for all of them. We realy need to think of them a lot with the holidays right around the corner. It's guys like Fixe's friend that keep us all speaking english.
Wow that was quick
Thank you and I am sure that my buddy and his platoon which are in the air not verry comfurtable I am sure will be glad to here about the quick responce that I have recieved. God Bless them and keep them safe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In honor of these Guys and Gals What do or What will it take us to do to get the USA smile Flag Icon on our sight.
What ever it takes I and all my freinds family I am sure are willing to get it there.
Come on they are out there risking their lives,
And I as An BORN AND RAISED American would use this Smile face with every Forum!!!!!
You can go down to the "User Feedback and Suggestions" forum and post your request for the flag icon. I'm sure our webby will respond when he sees it and either say ay or nay and give reasoning for it.
The next time you talk to your friend, Manny you tell him thankyou from me, and all of us on this forum, and I will keep him in my prays along with the friends I also have there, one of our fellow mud draggers around here is also over there right now (and has been since march) he also could use the prayers, as he also has a new wife that is left here until he gets back.
I also like the flag smilly either one that is red, white, and blue, or one the is waving the flag.
May The Lord bless him, and strech his hand over him with a covering of protection, for he is able to do all things, in the name of our precious Lord and Savoiur Jesus Christ.
I will definitely say a prayer for Manny and all of the service men and women. I know what you are going through. One of my best friends recently got the same news. One minute she is a school teacher serving in the National Guard, the next minute she's doing 18 months in Iraq and Kuwait. Talk about a life changing experience.
GOD bless all the men and women serving overseas.
Place a hedge of protection around them and bring them home safely.
Bring PEACE and Comfort to all family and friends.
Are GOD is an awsome GOD and capable of all things.
