I've used the Anco blades for years - they're cheap and work pretty well, but I replace them about every 6 months.

The triple-edge are ok, but the lifetime warranty ain't that great - you pay about as much for shipping as the new blades cost.

PIAA silicone blades work the best, in my opinion. They are pricey, but clear everything with no squeaking or ratcheting. It is the highest quality wipe out there, and I'm not talking Charmin.

I use the good Teflon blades from Napa and just replace them when they start to streak, about once/year...Also put the same blades on all my customers vehicles...No complaints so far.

They recommend replacing the blades every year, and also you should change your oil every 3000 miles

I've run my set for three years now, only replacing them when it's time to put on the snow blades. They go from March to December, and I still think they wipe as good now as they did when brand new. I told you they were pricey, you get what you pay for...

I use the 22" Triton Teflon blades from BJs and love them. The price was fair, the've lasted over a year, and are a sold as a complete set, not just the insert. Your expy probably came with 20" blades and if you are tall they will drive you nuts looking out a dirty windshield. The blade inserts I got from NAPA were crap because the metal in them was in three pieces and they kept falling apart.

Hopefully...you get what you pay for...that's NOT true in many cases unfortunately. Sounds like your blades have held up to their expense.

Regards,
Scott

I forgot to mention that you don't have to replace the entire wiper assembly, you can now buy refills for the wipers, about $10 a set. I think I may do that next spring.

I use bosch wipers, i actually just put a new set on for $24 yesterday, assembly and all. They last quite a while before they streak, in snow, ice and all. The one thing i definitely recommend for wipers is, dont go with the stock size, I think 20 inch is the recommended size, I fit 23 on driver side, 22 on passenger, that way the whole windshiled gets covered instead of using the small recommended 20's.
