problem after installing new 390

after installing my new 390 the transmission makes a high pitched screeching sound which is louder when placed in a gear and the engine vibrates a little what can i do to fix this

make sure the trans and engine are lined up and square to each other.

Sounds like maybe you didn't seat the torque converter all the way in.

is your trans still working ok.if your torque wasnt in place its toast.

i put the torque converter on and slid it back in place i felt it

Did you turn and push so that it went on the pump shaft? It will usually slide back then stop until you turn it to seat it all the way.

yes i turned and push it and it slide all the way back it lined up fine with the flexplate and it still moves in gear just makes that noise can this be from low fluid today i noticed with the engine of it showed to much fluid then with the engine running it showed no fluid
