98 Ranger overdrive light flashes

Need assistance. Vehicle is 98 Ranger 4X4 Extended Cab offroad package with auto tranny with overdrive. This morning on the way to work, the o/d off light on the dash starting flashing. O/D still works. Shifting may be alittle harder, but not much. I assume it's an error code of some kind. Anyone know?

The computer has detected a problem. I would look under the truck for any loose connections but you will probably need to have the codes pulled.
