brake problems on 1996 Ranger
Anyone have advice on what to do with rear brakes grabbing all the time . I've installed new drums, shoes & harware i adjusted the shoes properly & they r wearing even. When i bought the truck new i was having problems with brakes then all the time . I took it to a Ford dealer & they didnt know what the problem was either . So they sent all the brake parts front & rear back to the manufacturer . I also checked the wheel cylinders they dont appear to be leaking. It could be the parking brake may be sticking even though it releases fine. I do use the parking brake quite a bit so is there any way to free up a sticking parking brake .It gets to the point where i can hardly stand the banging noise in the rear brakes when i apply the brakes at low speed . Also on the front brakes i'm always having a problem with the front left brake hardware . The anti rattle clip seems to get bent after so many miles but the right side is fine .To bleed the brakes is it necessary to bleed @ the master cylinder first & then bleed each wheel. Please respond . i appreciate it
THX, Rangerick
