code 44
1985 B II 2.8 L
after replacing vacuum solenoids for EGR vent and TCP, cleared codes by remove neg. battery term., reconnect and drove for 15 miles. run KOER code test again, previous codes gone, but got code 44 for thermactor failure. I checked volts at both TAB nad TAD solenoids-- was ok. checked vacuum at both air bypass and air diverter valvess-- was ok at 20". checked vacuum at TAB while goose throttle-- seems ok. This is be a computer code, which to my knowledge "read" mechanical, non electric valves. air pump puts out ok.
