I thought I saw a post about the torqueshift transmission that it has a learning computer that will train itself to shift according to my driving habits & the load on the truck. Well I drove the truck for 1500 miles b4 having a service body installed on the truck which added a fair ammount of weight, and my foot seems to get a little heavier now that the truck is broken in somewhat. Does anybody think I could disconnect the batteries & lose the previous information that has been stored? If so what would be the procedure? I know in another vehicle I own you have to disconnect the battery for at least 5 minutes & touch the positive cable to the frame b4 reconnecting to loose the check engine light.
Also, KW if you read this post, what is the name of the diesel guy you have been talking to at Prestige, I live w/in 2mi of that dealer. I have felt that it would be a good place to go, even though I dislike the owner for the way he runs his place, as they sell more trucks than anyone anywhere!
thanks SB you have been very helpful as usual. If you ever have any HVAC questions I will gladly help if I can, or if you need any parts I can help there also!
