Another Leveling Kit

I have a 02 1 ton and wanted to level it so instead of paying 200 to 300 bucks I found a shackle extension made by warrior products for less than 70 dollars. Looks good and fits 295/75. I will try and post a pic of it. Just another option

I saw they come in pairs. Do you need 2 or 4 to do the front of the superdutys? I all ready have 35s on mine stock but this 2 inches would hold me over till I save for the 8 inch kit maybe if it levels the front of the truck out? Lets see a pic greenhedhntr.

Thanks. Do they go on the front or the back of the front spring? I know its only 1.5" so this is a dumb ???? but will I need to change shocks or anything in the steering area?

The shackles work great for you guys with 4x4s , anyone know of a spring spacer that would work on the 2x4 F350s ?

Not a big deal but shackle lifts do change wheel alignment and pinion angle.

This sounds just like what I was looking for. Is there any negatives to leveling your truck this way? Also, does anyone have photos of how the shackles install. I'm kinda new to this.

The negative is you don't want to go to long with the shackles , it could allow the front axle to move side to side . Also you want a reenforced shackle to stop any unwanted movement . It can also change frontend geometry and pinion angle .

does anyone know it ford uses about the same springs for the superduty's as the older body style 250's? i.e. will these fit on an older (95) as well. I venture to guess they will but not sure...

I just ordered my set today, should be here next week. Hopefully before the holiday.

RYN,
Just go to www.warriorproducts.com and if its not on there then just call them up. I know the ones I ordered fit 97 to present F250s.

What is the diff in a reinforced shackle and how would I know if that is what I ordered?

The reinforced shackle will have an H shape to them instead of being two separate pieces the two are joined with a cross bar . The cross bar connects the two halfs of the shackle together to add support to the shackle .
