Hi guys, just been sort of lurking every now and then. I have a 71 f100 with a 390. Anyway just wondering if anyone use the DUI ignition and how you like it. I've been having some ignition problems for a long time and I'm thinking that getting one of these will do the trick. thanks.
A friend of mine uses the DUI on a '78 300 I6 and he loves it .
I thought I remember seeing proeliator with a dui set up on one of his engines .
You may want to talk to him .
That'll do the trick for sure, but at $375.00, it's a costly one. I recommend that you start with a Pertonix... spend a max of $75.. and if your motor is stock/mild build up.. it's all you need...

It's actually Pertronix, I spelled it wrong, as usual for me... anyway,
It's an optical trigger that fits into a stock ford distributor, and replaces the points. I am running one in my 428, which is mild,, sorta...... it runs great with it.
