I can't believe no one has outbid me on this thing with the 2-1/2 ton rockies under it, I really don't need another project, and just spent a bunch of money on a set of heads so some of you big talkers need to outbid me on this thing, or I will have to build a bigger truck, and run over everones else
Or if I am missing something and this is not a good deal please tell me.
thats what i figured to, and bid on them just ot watch, and had the money sitting here, and since everyone says these things bring big dollars never figured they would stay at the price, oh well if no one wants to bid on them guess I can get a cheap set for something or other.
Whatcha gonna do with em monster, build a rig for Knoxville???? Also there are a set of 5 tons on Ebay in Michigan if I remember correctly. Dirt cheap when I saw them. Made me think of Pro. Also a Dodge charger monster truck too, been sitting for a long time, comes with tires but no wheels???? nobody had bit on the opening bid when I saw it, it was pretty reasonable too.
5 tons would be sweet. I'll probably just stick with the deuce and a halfs and go with alloy axles and disks. Plenty strong and they weigh waaay less than 5 tons.
That's a Camper Special bed on there, you know, the extended wheelbase reg cab long bed trucks with the spare tire compartment in the pass. side of the box....
5 tons? Now that's serious overkill for nearly anything, they're just plain HUGE, to the point that they're pretty much impractical for anything other than a monster truck, and outdated techmilogy for those.
