I wanted to upgrade to 15 in wheels ( I really like those Eagle 58 series too) but I didn't have the cash and I wasn't sure if I was keeping the van or not. But I DID need tires. So I bought a set of Kumho Venture ST 225/70/14 from tirerack.com for $50 a piece. I haven't noticed any rubbing problems.
Granted that the front tires the van had when I bought it were in bad shape ( dry-rotted, shifted belt, etc.)and had snow tires on the back, I really don't have a comparison. But if you don't have the cash for new 15 in. wheels, upgrading to 225/70/14 is the way to go. 225/70/14 can be a tough tire size to find though.
