Well, I did not know I could buy a new ecc IV from our part store. Can anyone tell me the Ford part number for a (88' - 89' f-150, 5.0, 4X4,C-6) ecc IV? I would be extreamely greatful.

Thanks, Ken

I mean the eec IV The dealer gave me a number E9TZ-12A650-ARA with a calibration number of 7-54J-R11 OR 9-54J-R10
Now the dealer did not want to give me any of the information because he was afraid of going broke if I was to buy it from someone else for 1/2 the price he said it would cost me.
I checked the part store and the E9TZ did not show up only E9TF. What is the difference ? And any Of you Ford Guru's out there know the diference in the calibration numbers?
Thanks again for any replies Ken

There shouldn't be much difference in the computer program as long as it is designed for the same engine and transmission that your truck has (same year is better as well, but not crucial). I believe the E9TZ is a replacement part number, and the E9TF would be a factory part number.
