Sour taste.

After 11 months and 8 services in dealing with the infamous vibration issues along with having all the TSB's applied, the Ford engineer stated the truck performs as designed. Imagine that! The dealer did all the work because of an imaginary issue? I don't think so. More hoops to jump though? Not anymore. One phone call and I'm done dealing with this. I've been a very loyal customer and can't describe the shock to have a known issue, proven issue, and serviced issue simply stamped by a pencil pusher with "as designed." Unless of course he was on the original design team.....
Never owned a vehicle in my life that needed a "vibration dampening kit."

More to come. I'm really Looking forward to the DSB meeting...NOT!! What do you think they will conclude?

Do you want to know what I think of the Ford engineer? I think he read too much spam to get his engineer degree.

No sense of flaming people. Nothing in this world is perfect. We all have to deal with problems on a daily basis.

FORD will never admit if they made a mistake or two.

IMO this is the best Looking, best Driving and all around best built truck Ford has produced. Yes I am on my 6th Ford truck now.

If you have a LEMON pursue that course and get a new one or get it fixed and go to a different dealership and trade for an 05. A friend of mine had 6-7 problems with his and after 1 year he traded it off for an 05. His new 05 cost him 18.00 more a month. The 04 kept it's value even with known issues.

Don't get discouraged and flame people - do something about it yourself. Only YOU will get it resolved. They will want to fix fix fix as designed until you die. LOL!

Good Luck my friend! It all works out in the end!

Thanks for the words of encouragement and advice BlkButy. I can take constructive critisism and believe me....I have taken action as well.
I didn't consider myself flaming and will work harder to not be so emotional about this extremely disapointing and frustrating issue. Is that possible? Doesn't look like you have these problems, however, it does look like you are aware of them.

Maybe you have a point and I should see what I get for a trade in? Might just give it a shot.
Only owe $9k on the truck, so you can see why I'm upset with all this money invested into a problem. Just not willing at this point to have Ford or the dealership benefit by making more money off of another truck. Doesn't seem right to me....
Guess I need to weight the expense and pain of the actions I'm taking vs. the cost difference of trading it in. Great point! Might just do that...but most likely not with Ford.
