Was going to replace the front output shaft seal in a 2002 Explorer, but could not get the Flange out of the transfer case. Need to know if it's held in by a circlip or a snap ring. Do you have to disassemble the transfer case to do this? BTW, it's a borg-warner 4410 AWD transfer case. Thanks!

 

Hello, which transmission is that 4410 attached to? I have a problem myself. I am trying to get an AWD transfer case to attach to a 5R55E(SOHC V6). Thanks,
