1992 F250 headlight chime

The touchscreen is a capacitive-glass style from 3m. Its designed for heavy duty use (fingers or gloves) for applications like ATM machines. It lists for about $1200, if I recall.
I snagged it on ebay for about $400, which is a hair more than the Xenarc/Lilliput VGA monitors. I had a Xenarc 7" for a while, but the icons are too small for my eyes and while driving, I don't want to be looking to the side squinting trying to read maps, hunting for icons, etc. So, I went overboard
This was monitor #3 actually, first being the Xenarc 7". The second monitor was an older point of sale 10" color 800x600 touchscreen monitor of unknown branding. You know, the old style, big picture tube, glass surface, etc. Was very nice, but was extremely heavy. I was almost done making a new switching power supply for it (12-14V DC in) when I saw the 3m touchscreen on ebay, and snagged it. Its much lighter than the point of sale monitor, and requires no power supply hacking
