windshield Inter-change 67-77?

Are the windsheilds the same for these years of trucks? I can't find 67-72's but I can find lots of 73-77. Are they the same? Thanks ya'll.

glass...

Some friends of mine are 67-72 truck nuts. I am pretty sure they have told me that they have used 73-79 in 67-72. You could call just about any glass place that does windshields and they would look up the part numbers to be 100% sure.

My glass-man says 73-91 are the same, and confirms rubber is different but couldn't remember which years.

67-79 on the windshield, and 73-96/97 for the back glass.

i used back glass out of a 93, the only difference is the thickness of the glass and the rubber. you have to use rubber that is made for your year but the glass doesnt matter.

rear glass

Thanks guys for the info on the rear window - I did not know 79-96!

I often wondered about using a newer slider in my 79.

I swapped the rear glass out of a 96 F-150 XL straight into my 75 crewcab. the rubber was identical. the newer trucks with sliders have different rubber, but as long as you use the rubber that came with the glass you should be OK.

Glass...

Thanks much. I have been trying to fix my old 79 slider by accumulating a couple from that era to get enough parts to build a good one.
I have seen quite a few newer ones in the bone yard - I check them out.
Thanks,
Jim
