edge evolution tuner
Anyone using an edge evolution tuner on a 97 diesel crew, I'am looking for any improvements in performance, mpg, as well safety of tuner. Already have 4 inch exhaust, 6637 intake, 10k mod. I already an aware about mpg relates to how heavy right foot is. Any mpg results with this tuner would be appreciated. Thanks, Jeff

Buddy of mine has the same truck as you with the same mods minus the 10k and is running the edge and he said he noticed a big difference from the SCMT he had in it before I know that isn’t saying much with out true dyno numbers. I really don’t know about fuel mileage, I will ask him.

I have it and love it. When I keep my foot out of it, I see 1-1.5 mpg increase on all three settings. You may have to lose the 10k mod though, the Evolution already pushes the ICP pretty hard and it may start cutting out on you, mine did.

Thanks for the insight on the tuner, I assume you guy's have all the gauges needed. I have a quote of 566.oo for gauges and tuner, does this sound like an o.k. price? The one thing I don't like of using these mods is you always have to keep looking at gauges to see if you are pushing it too much. Any thoughts, Thanks Jeff
