mustang commercial
hey, have you seen the new mustang commercial? looks like a field of dreams parody, a guy paves a road course through a corn field, another guy appears from the corn and walks to the '05 silver mustang that has been pulled out of a barn. (im not shure, but the guy looks like he could be steve mcqeen) he holds out his hand , gets tossed the keys, and takes off in the mustang. there is no audio, the only thing i can think of is "if you build it: he will come" the color is off between the two guys, like the one i think is steve mcqeen has been "moved" from another video/movie to this one. has anyone seen this? is that steve mcqueen? if you build it will he come? (just joking there) the color is so off that he looks dead. (which of course is true, if it is steve mcqueen) anyhow, thought it was cool. Dave.

Yes, that is Steve Mcqueen, I was going to do a post on this topic,,LOL, 
racsan got it done first,,Cant beleive I'm saying this,,,but,,,finaly a COOL comercial,, 
( I hate commercials,,on race day) pretty sure the one we got to check out had sound,,Motor sounds goooooooooood, 
even my GM buddies were saying it looks great.

Yea I finally got to see it this weekend, and saw it again last night. Its amazing!!!!!! I think for Steve McQueen being dead for 20+ years it looks AWESOME. Ford's got a winner on its hands with this car, just like 40 years ago.

Like I said in the other post, watch for the other ad, "Anthem." It starts off with a red Mustang parked in front of an old drive-in movie screen. Using Steve McQueen to sell a 2005 Mustang is cool, but "Anthem" is one of the greatest ads ever conceived, period.

i put "bullet" on my christmas list. now if i can just wait that long...........funny how ive managed to never see a steve mcqeen film, ive heard of him, wonder why ive never seen any of the movies he was in on amc or tbs? you can always catch a classic clint eastwood or smokey and the bandit movie.

I just saw the commercial for the first time a couple days ago. Hhowever, I have seen and stood next to the real thing. The local Ford dealer got one in, a GT, and me and my friends went out to check it out. White with red leather interior. The GT's look extra cool, they got a huge GT logo on the back, right in the middle. nice looking car.
