Leaky rear window

My 98 XLT recently started leakin at the rear window. I went and had the window resealed and that same day the cargo/third brake light gasket started to leak!!! So when you guys are washin the truck, take a look at the window!!! They had 2 Rangers in that day at the auto glass shop and they both were 98s' If you do your own water test, and see the water is flowing threw the metal seem just over the head liner it is the cargo light gasket. My window leaked on the two upper corners. To reseal the window was $80, the cargo light gasket, which is sold as a assembly (thank you Ford) is just under $60. Stay dry guys!!!

Leaky rear window

My '95 leaked also. I sealed the window with some clear silicone. I just made sure it filled in the small crack between the rubber seal and the body. Haven't had any leaks since doing that. Of course, my carpet got ruined before I fixed the leak, so that has to be replaced or cleaned really well now.
