Well my truck got keyed all over the damn place and I really dont want to reapint the entire truck so Im gonna just try and touch it up. I know it will look like crap, but I dont want do depreciate the vehicle any by repainting it. As far as some of the key marks does any1 out there know of a good product that will blend the scratches in? I have tried Meguairs (maybe mispelled) and some kind of turtle wax compund that the guy at Oriley's recommended, but non have worked. The larger key marks I have touched up, but the finer ones are too small to touch up. Any help would be great. Thanks
What color is your truck? Makes a difference I think. There are colored waxes on the market that supposedly can fill in tiny scratches and help hide them.
you might try talking with a professional detailor, they might be able to help you out with what products will work with ford, gm, dogde etc etc... paints...how do you think those used cars on the dealers lots look so good......most trade ins need some spiffin up before they are ready to be seen.....
on edit: oh....."black" thats a very tough color to hide scratches on...
you should really talk to pro before doing anything, sorry to hear about someone doing that to your ride, that sucks....
