I just completed a round trip from Middle River Md to Savannah GA. While towing my 32 foot 5th wheel travel trailer approx weight 10,000 lbs.. I got an average of 13.1 MPH using the tow haul mode. The truck (F-250 2004 SWB CC 2wheel drive)worked just beautiful. The truck has been trouble free.It has 8650 miles on it.At this point and time this is by far the best truck I have owned.
The truck has 3.73 gears. I tryed with the tow haul mode disengaged on the level didn't seem to make much difference. I usually disengage the tow haul mode in stop and go traffic it shifts smoother at lower rpm's. I swear by this truck! I know a lot of others swear at it!! As I stated earlier this is by far the best truck I have owned. It has a build date 08-03 and an engine 07-20. it is an 04 model.
