Well there is already pics of a couple of my trucks in my gallery, I suppose I could put them all in the yard, and take a group/family photo of all 4 at one time.
Well, if you would like your truck considered, let me know. I may even put 2 per page, who knows? I would like some of them to be a little better quality though, remember, we have to look at them for a full month... Some pics I saw are good, but some have glare issues, or cut off the truck or such. If I take it off your gallery, I will email you and let you know, otherwise, email or put in your gallery some pics that you would want used. If I would like to use your truck, but want a better pic, I will let you know as well. Rob, do you run that small a tire on your Ranger for racing? looks a little strange, but I guess I have been conditioned... A group pic would be a good thing, the ones I saw in the gallery could be better... have any while you're racing? I know the gallery gives a glimpse, no contest winner pics necessary, mine is nothing to brag about. If I use my ugly beast, I'll have to do better.
yea those are the tires I race with the rears are 35x10.50 the fronts are 34x9.5, so they are skinny but not as short as they look int he pic gotta remember the top of that truck is 7'4" tall, I might have some from the races on the kids camara will be talking to them this weekend, and will see what I can do about better pics or a group pic like you said or both
I no longer have a digital camera...but maybe sometime I could get together with somebody for a group shot of my truck with somebody else's.
I live in Cenverville, and drive up to Pleasantville pretty much every weekend. So anywhere within about 45 minutes of Highway 5 would be possible. Who all is from Des Moines, you are right Rob? Maybe we could get a couple more people to come and get a picture of all kinds of our trucks for the cover or something. I'd like for a majority at least of the calendar's pictures to be our trucks..not sometihng from the internet. Though I havea picture of a SVT doing a hellacious burnout from Ford .
I just took my truck to the arboritum and botanical gardens and took a few pix. I will download them and put them in my gallery tonight or in the morning before the race
Sweet..I can't wait to take a peak. It'd be cool to have all years represented. 73-79 (John), 80-86 (Roger), 87-96 (Rob, Bill, Myself), 97-03 (Rob again).
The people I listed were just the ones who's trucks I know for sure...
Wow Bill..really nice truck. I love that backdrop. Thats kinda what I'd picture well for a calendar cover. You just need some bigger tires or a bit more lift on that thing =).
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/s...d.php?t=307101 Although it is the Drifters, it tells what I need, and some of the problems. It would appear that you will have to email me a pic or they will be too small. I also have to have permission from the owners/users. I figured on doing that anyway.
I would say permission here or in email should be fine, as long as you are ok with the use of the pic, I can't see where it would be a problem. I would like to use yours, it's a fine example of that year series.
