You CAN do it....it IS possible, but you gotta make double-danged sure you get every drop of that green out of your system before you put in the yellow. A mechanic bud of mine told me that the two will not mix, and in fact they will react unfavorably together and cause a real problem.........

I did this on my 00 PSD, it is a huge pain in the butt. I performed 7 flushes with distilled water just to eliminate all of the green coolant. This mod is “Not” even close to being worth all of the trouble for what you accomplish. If you decide to make the green to gold change, allow 2 days to complete the switch safely. I have the scaring on my right hand and arm as proof of what can happen when you remove the drain plugs from the block before the coolant has cooled… Jeff in NM…OUT
