Tire size

Is there a differance between a 265 75 15 and a 31 10.5 15 tire? I'm looking to get new skins for my 95 Bronco. I'm looking at "BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A", but they don't come in a 265 75 15. They only have 235 75 15 & 31 10.5 15 for my truck. I think the 235's look to small in them big wheel wells. The 265's look alot better but they don't come in that size. Any tire experts out there? Thanks

That is almost exactly the same size (veeeery close). You can buy those 31"s and they will work fine for you. 31" tires are one of the most popular upgrade from the metric standards. I had some 31" Michelin LTX A/Ts on mine, and I loved them.

Go with the 31"s. They look just fine on a stock Bronc. I am running Goodyear Wrangler RT/S 31 10.5 tires and am very satisfied with them, they fill the wheel well space nicely and never have any rubbing issues.

Not sure about the 95 but on my 87, I fit 33 x 12.5's with no rubbing at all. IMHO, the bigger tires look much better.

Heres a pic of my 94, I'm running 31 10.5 15, BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A and I love them. No clearance issues at all, even with the wheel fully cranked. They fill up the stock wheel wells nicely in my opinion. I think I could actually fit in a set of 32's without any trouble as well, which I may seriously do in the near future.

I just got my 31x10.5 R15's BF Goodrich TA ($80) and they fit great. I was looking at 32's, but it might be really close to the bumper (94 Bronco).

Those 31's look good but I want to put some bigger tires then that on mine. Will 32x11.50's fit on the stock wheels and not have any rubbing issues?

Is this on your stock rims? I have the steel "style" rims on my truck and want to make sure.

I had 33 x 12.50's on my stock 8" steel wheels. Shouldn't be any problems with 32 x 11.50's but double check what the tire mfg says. They'll say what the min and max rim widths are.
