Expedition Vs X

Hi all,

Please excuse what could be seen as a silly question. How difficult is it to bolt up an expedition 5.0L into a V6 Explorer. Does anyone have any ideas on how or if that is possible?

Thanks.

I don't know about new zealand, but here in the states, the expy never had the 5.0L. It only came and comes with either a 4.6 or 5.4. Now did you mean one of those? If you meant the regular pushrod 302, there are numerous conversions out there and since it came in the explorer later, it is very doable. If speaking of one of the modular, then I'm not sure. Seems like it would be doable, but would take quite a bit of wiring.

Expl and 4.6

Thanks for that. I'm looking for more grunt and less fitting hassle. Any ideas on how much hassle for the 4.6 or 5.4 fitting into Explorer from Exped?
