I think the best looking were the '53-'56 F100's. Those were soooo sweet.
The worst looking has to be the new Rams. That lumpy-fendered gawdy front end is so over-done. The new Dakota is no prize either.
I hope my dad keeps his 2000 Dakota forever, cuz if he gets one of the new ones I may cry. i agree those are pretty ugly. My favorite actually is the brand new Superduty's I love the big front end on em. Of course the Tonka truck too, haha.
the 1940 Ford, car and 1/2 ton, are the best looking vehicles ever made for consumption by the general public, IMO. So that would be the 40-41 half ton for this poll.
I know, I know I own a '64, '72 and a '27. but nothing compares to the '40. Wish I never sold mine.
I love the body style of the 80-86. I think the worst is the 87-91. The front-ends are fugly and the layout's of the interiors are . I think the current body style F-150's are pretty foul as well.
I'm not trying to be rude in any way, but my 87's both have identical interiors to each other, but is VERY similar to my best friend's '84...

Good call, but they do look great when done up properly also, IMO

I don't like any of the 80's trucks, and ver few of the 90's...
61-66 is one of the best body styles I think... like the 66 best for the grille.
I used to love 78's-19's but I bought a 76 and I started liking the front end of it a bit better than the others.
As for the new trucks... Im not very fond of them
However the 97'ish trucks are nice
I think the best looking years of Ford trucks is the 73-79 body style. If I had to choose just one year, I guess I'd go with 1977. I also like the 1980 thru 1996 Ford pickups alot. Although I think the 73-79s are the best, those 80s and early-mid 90s Fords are very nice, too.
By general style - Ford '50, '64, '72 and the '99 f-250's. Ch**vy '50, '55 '62 and Apache. Newer D*dge RAM.
The f-150's in the last few yrs have a funky look to the bed sides IMO - like somebody lifted it and added an extra 6" of body panel too it.
The perfect truck is an extension of yourself - in my case that would be: kinda old, kinda ugly, kinda beat up, but still working. I like a truck that strikes fear into the guy ahead of me when he looks in the rear view mirror - even when he's in a Expedition. Heck, even the old '50's Bonneville's, or the like, are more 'get outta my way kinda bad ***' looking than some of these new trucks.
