I estimate I loose a little less than a 17-20% of my power through driveline losses on my car (its a manual)

BTW where did you get 100hp figure?,
Pity if you are in a baby car with less than 100hp and a slushbox...

The losses experienced due to driveline losses aren't able to be calculated as a single figure (like 100hp for example), and it depends on a lot of things, transmission is one of them.
For example a friend has had his Skyline GTR engine dynoed at 700hp (pretty much the same as mine), but he looses about an extra 50hp ona chassis dyno due to the 4wd system, where my car is RWD...

The dyno numbers you saw where probally on big blocks like 502's which do end up losing about 100 HP to the wheels, which a 502 is doing about 500 HP at the fly wheel, and your looking at about a 20% drop which is down to about 400 HP but if you compare the loseage to something like a kia sportage the drop will be dramaticlly differnt.

It will still be around 20% though...

Yes it will still be 20%, but the ammount it drops is dramatically differnt. A kia at the fly wheel does about 150HP, after the drop it will do 120 give or take a little.
