Hey all,

Getting ready to take my 89 Bronco on an off road trip through Death Valley. I have had some problems with the AC Pump, which have been repaired. This being an older model and my first time on a trip like this with it, what do you guys suggest I check out before venturing off?

Fluids. Differential lube, check tranny fluid, oil, and radiator fluid. Check ball joints, wheel bearings, give the brake system a check.

Go find a big tub and throw a bunch of tools and spares in there. Things like antifreeze, oil, gloves, fuses, tape, etc.

Pretty much anything you can thing you might possibly need, and then go ask someone what you're missing.

 

spare tire of same size your running. a good tune up before hand. shovel, jack, tow strap, extra parts like ujoints and tools to fix most anything. extra gas cans to would be a good idea.
