when i pull out onto a road really fast and shift into second it grinds.. and uhh.... i dont know what else to say but does anyone know what it does this? thanks.
Your blocking rings or synchronizer rings are getting worn out. 'spensive to fix.
You might try checking the lube level in the trans, as Rangers are know to puke their grease out the top thru the 'rubber plugs' that fall apart. As a matter of fact, you should check the level even though you do not see evidence of leaking. Just because. Could be getting out any number of places, a bit here, a smidge there, all adds up.
Also, try replacing the lube. Sometimes that will help 'lazy' sychros get by for a while.
Easiest thing to do: Doc sez, if it hurts when you do that, stop doing that.... i.e., quit speed shifting. It'll last a lot longer.
