No Cruise Control

Howdy! I've had my '94 PSD for a little over a year now and the cruise has never worked. With the unreal price of diesel these days I'm trying to squeeze every MPG that I can out of a truck. Here's what I've been thru so far..
1. All three brake/tail lights work
2. No blown fuses
3. Jumped out brake switch in master cylinder
4. Clutch must be in to crank (so I guess clutch switch is ok)
5. Pulled horn pad and checked button operation. The on/off switch showed .5 ohms, the accel, coast and resume all showed proper resistance (120, 680, and 2000 I think)
6. Pulled out hair!!!

Any other suggestions on what to try would be greatly appreciated

cruise control

I had a 96 I bought and the people who sold me the truck said they had to replace the cruise contol sensor, I don't know where it's located. You might check that out. Jeff

Thanks for the info Jeff. I checked the speed sensor on the rear diff and it showed good.

Does anyone know where the cruise sensor Jeff is talking about is located?
