2000 Ford F250 Brokenn
I have a 2000 ford F250 with the 6.8 V10 4X4 XLT .
it has right around 79000 miles on it.
A few weeks ago the (ABS) light came on and has stayed on ever since.
Then the Service Egine soon light came on and has stayed on this lasted about a week then the O/D light started to flash at me on the shifter ****. And now the speedometer has quit working.
So right at this moment:
(ABS) light on
O/D light flashing
Service Engine Soon light on
Speedometer Dead
has anyone had this problem(s) happen before? should I be looking for one problem or is there alot of problems I am looking for? any help with this would be greatly appriciated

It's on top of the rear dif, driver's side top. Sometimes all you have to do is unplug, clean it good (make sure it's dried) and then plug it back up. You might also need to disconnect your battery for half an hour or so to reset it. I always like to turn on the headlights when I disconnect the battery so that all the power can drain.
If that don't do the trick a new VSS (vehicle speed sensor) is only about $28.00 and is a snap to install.
Let us know.

Warning lights
I had all of those symptoms on my '99 Super Duty.
It started with the overdrive light on the column shifter and went downhill from there.
Replaced the ABS sensor (it sends the signal to the speedometer) and the on board computer that controls the transmission (it controls the overdrive function and that little light).
