yeah, croming will be heavy, ever picked up part of a body normally, think about that about 3 times as heavy with chroming on it, i mean you may be able to go with like fake chrome paint, but not a true chroming, that would be way too much weight
Here you go. There are new chrome paints out there now.(not spray can crap) Very neat stuff, and looks good. But if you want to do a truck you better have a deep pocket book. I have used and sell one called motochrome. There is a very envolved process to use it. http://www.alsacorp.com/
